Why this contest was started:
Almost a year ago [hji] asked for ideas for a painting and so I asked him if he wanted to make a drawing about the poem of [Sunrose]. Since I adopted the name, I also had a picture taken for the painting in a pose requested and drawn out by [hji]. Since then the picture has been used by more people as inspiration for art. And this is what gave me the idea to make it a contest!
Feel free to look around here, as there are already submissions present!

The poem will not be published anymore.




The rules

1. The art must be done by Elftowners and posted here by the original artist.
2. The art must follow the Uploading Art Rules.
3. Use the picture as a reference and if you want the poem as extra inspiration.
4. You can either draw it or photomanipulate it.
5. The theme is up to you, but no porn/violent images. I would love to see a big diversity in themes.
6. The size doesn’t really matter: if it’s too big it can be resized into a link. But of course it needs to be visible and thus not too small ;)
7. You can submit more than one submission, no maximum set (yet).
8. Deadline is 28th of February or a minimum of 20 entries by at least 10 contestants.
9. Voting will be done by me and some friends (non-contestants) in a wiki-poll (with show of votes). The judges will be revealed After the voting.
